Justin and Jesse, originally from North Carolina, decided to embark on a trip to explore Italy and celebrate their ninth anniversary as a couple. After visiting Venice and Rome, it was in Scandicci, Italy, that Justin proposed. He had carefully selected and customized Jesse's dream ring from the beautiful Midwinter Co and he proposed with the background of the picturesque rolling Tuscan hills. Every surprise was planned down to the last detail by the Reliquary team, including the accommodation where the proposal and their first photo session took place minutes after. The couple thoroughly enjoyed all that Tuscany offers, including wine tastings, walks in the countryside and a wonderful dinner at Collazzi, The couple and our team then journeyed to Milan and to Lake Como where their engagement session would take place with a final surprise gift, a lovely olive-colored gown from Baltic Born. The weather was perfect, offering moments of moody cloud cover, alternating with sunbeams breaking through. Swans and swallows floated and swooped in and out of the frame and the breath-taking views kept us all mesmerized for hours. After the session we all enjoyed aperitivo by the Lake, arranged by Reliquary's craft services provider. This trip was truly magical from start to finish and will be remembered for many years to come. The enchanting country of Italy certainly made us all fall deeper in love that day.
